2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid
The 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid promises to be more adaptable and capable than its predecessor, offering you the freedom to take on any adventure. As an ideal compact SUV for families, the Honda CR-V Hybrid benefits from an efficient powertrain, a comfortable ride, practical technology features, and generous storage. Check out the 2023 model details below.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
Five distinct Honda CR-V trim levels are available, with two qualifying as a CR-V Hybrid: the Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid. The 2023 version brings 19-inch gloss-black alloy wheels for the Sport Touring Hybrid and 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels for the CR-V Sport Hybrid. Both trims have LED headlights, automatic on-and-off and LED taillights, an active shutter grille, a hood damper, and a body-colored roofline spoiler with integrated brake light.
Also included are gloss-black roof rails and gloss-black heated power side mirrors with integrated LED turn indicators. The Sport Touring Hybrid vehicle model comes standard with front and rear parking sensors and hands-free access to the power tailboard with programmable height settings.
Engine (Power)
The Sport and Sport Touring Hybrid trims for the 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors to provide 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque, an increase over the power ratings for non-hybrid trims. The base Sport grade comes with front-wheel drive as standard, and the Sport Touring trim has Real Time all-wheel drive.
Performance
The 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid's features include improved cornering traction performance provided by the next-generation Real Time All-Wheel Drive with Intelligent Control, which increases power to the rear wheels when it detects that a steering motion needs more support. Drivers also receive a Four-Mode Drive System featuring Snow, Sport, and ECON modes.
The 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid provides a smooth ride and enough power to avoid becoming tiresome. Each Honda CR-V Hybrid also gets a hill-descent control feature that aids in controlling the compact SUV's speed when moving from a steep hill. Honda CR-V Hybrid vehicles are now rated to tow up to 1,000 pounds for moving loads or going on camping trips.
Interior
Thanks to a simple layout and broad sight lines, you will feel right at home as soon as you enter the 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid. Larger storage space, front seats with body support, and amenities like an optional Bose premium sound system are several of the features in the renovated cabin. The Hybrid Sport has a 7-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, while the Sport Touring Hybrid model has a 9-inch screen.
Wireless connection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard on the Sport Touring Hybrid trim, and both trims come with a USB-C charging port in the front console, plus two in the second row. A 12-speaker Bose premium audio system is exclusive to the Sport Touring Hybrid trim.
Safety Features
Honda includes the following safety features as standard equipment for both trims: collision mitigation braking, a road-departure mitigation system, a multi-angle rearview camera, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, a lane-keeping system, and traffic sign recognition. Additional standard safety features for the Sport Touring Hybrid trim include parking sensors. A blind-spot information system with a cross-traffic monitor is available on most models or standard on the Sport Touring Hybrid trim.
